perceptions
one saw a heart,
the other the head
of India's map.
one saw just street lights,
while another saw a pair:
one - bald and short
another - tall with a toupee.
through the windows
of a stalled school bus,
the kids saw what they
thought they saw.
not one disagreed
neither did they retort:
agree to disagree.
a few years down
and they'll all stare down
their own respective windows.
and perhaps, you know,
how that story
would pan out.
